What’s expected
- Produces accurate performance reports and forecasts, highlighting important KPI’s.
- Utilizes data to analyze pace and demand, in order to identify market trends, revenue opportunities, strengths and weaknesses, and drive performance under supervision of leadership.
- Monitors daily pickup and wash, analyzes lead times, and optimizes room inventory management across channels, including authorizations, overbooking rules, and restrictions.
- Oversees room allocation to ensure clean booking window for remaining inventory.
- Monitors competitive pricing, and evaluates market position, in order to contribute to the development of pricing strategy.
- Implements pricing strategy and ensures accurate pricing and rate parity across channels.
- Ensures optimal business mix for each period in order to achieve a good blend of rates and maximize revenue.
- Maintains group blocks, monitors room pickup, and releases rooms back into inventory to ensure booking window for customers.
- Assists with the setup and maintenance of PMS, CRS, extranets, and revenue management tools, and performs regular system checks to ensure seamless functionality.
- Performs regular checks on the reservations departments’ operation to ensure accurate data entry and correct implementation of sales strategy.
Requirements
What’s needed
- 2 years minimum experience in similar position in 5-star hotels, or extensive experience with reservations management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or economic studies, or hospitality management.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Strong computer skills, excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, and extensive experience with spreadsheets processing in Microsoft excel.
- Experience with GDS, IDS, OTA’s extranets, Rate shopping tools, and Property Management systems, preferably Opera.
- Experience with RMS is preferred but not required.
- Previous working experience with Hilton Hotels & Resorts is considered an additional asset.
- Analytical thinking, and results-driven mindset, as well as team spirit.
