NUMO HOTELS & RESORTS is recruiting a Sales Manager for the Head offices in Athens.

The Sales Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales and supports across all daily sales efforts and the implementation of sales strategies towards the achievement of budgeted top line revenue for the Group of Hotels. In line with the department’s standard operating procedures, works closely with the above property Revenue and Marketing Management Teams, as well as with the on-property Hotel Managers towards the maximization of RevPAR and growth of market share, as well as optimal business mix targets achievement.
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing relationships with Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Corporate Accounts and other key commercial partners, while identifying opportunities to expand existing business and generate new revenue.
- Negotiating and administering commercial agreements and annual contracts with Tour Operators and other business partners, ensuring that contractual terms were effectively implemented and maintained.
- Preparing sales proposals, commercial reports, production analyses and market performance updates, while monitoring account performance and supporting business planning.
- Executing the approved sales strategy and implementing sales action plans across the Group’s key source markets in line with commercial objectives.
- Travelling regularly to domestic and international markets to conduct sales calls, meet with Tour Operators, Travel Agencies and Corporate clients, strengthen business relationships and develop new commercial opportunities.
- Representing NUMO Hotels & Resorts at international travel exhibitions, trade fairs, workshops, roadshows, networking events and FAM trips to promote the Group’s portfolio and increase brand awareness.
- Organizing and conducting hotel site inspections, client presentations and familiarisation visits for existing and prospective business partners.
- Following up on sales leads, responding promptly to client enquiries and ensuring a high level of service throughout the sales process.
- Maintaining accurate records of commercial accounts, contracts, sales activities and client correspondence.
- Working closely with the Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Hotel Operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of commercial agreements, optimise business mix and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and booking patterns, and providing commercial recommendations to support pricing, contracting and sales decisions.
Qualifications/Skills
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
- Master’s Degree in a related field will be considered an asset
- 3 – 5 years of experience
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, etc.) will be valued accordingly
- Knowledge of channel management is desired
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of a PMS OPERA, will be valued accordingly
